Curio Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and handled in the FlipJoke mobile application (“the App”).

FlipJoke is designed for children and families. We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the App and do not use personal data for advertising or tracking.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information (Optional)

If a user chooses to create an account or sign in, we may collect:

• Email address (when signing up with email and password)

• Authentication identifiers provided by Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In

This information is used only to:

• Authenticate users

• Maintain their account

• Allows saving of favorites across devices

We do not collect:

• Names

• Phone numbers

• Physical addresses

• Location data

• Contacts

• Photos or media

• Advertising identifiers

• Analytics or behavioral tracking data

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Authenticate and manage user accounts

• Sync favorites across devices

• Delete accounts upon user request

We do not:

• Use personal data for advertising

• Track users across apps or websites

• Sell or share personal information

• Build marketing profiles

3. Account Deletion & User Rights

Users have full control over their account and may delete it directly within the App at any time.

When a user deletes their account:

• Their authentication record is permanently removed

• Any app data associated with the account is deleted

• No personal information is retained by Curio Labs LLC

Account deletion is initiated from within the App’s menu under Manage Accounts.

4. Information Stored Locally on the Device

The App may store non-personal data locally on the device, including:

• Cached images or audio files (to improve performance)

• Favorites selected by the user

• Offline content

This data:

• Remains on the device

• Is not shared with Curio Labs LLC

• Is not tied to personal identity

• Will be removed by deleting the app

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

FlipJoke is intended for children and families.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

• The App does not prompt children to enter personal details.

• Account creation is optional and intended for parents or guardians.

• No behavioral tracking or advertising is used.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

6. Third-Party Services

FlipJoke uses the following third-party services solely to operate core functionality:

• Supabase – Used for secure authentication and content delivery

• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In – Used for optional authentication

• Expo / React Native – App framework and infrastructure

These services are not used for advertising or tracking and only process data necessary to provide their functionality.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share personal information with:

• Advertisers

• Data brokers

• Analytics platforms

• Marketing partners

Personal information is never sold or traded.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect user information:

• Secure authentication systems

• Encrypted network communication (HTTPS)

• Limited data access

• No unnecessary data retention

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
